Synergy Update: 01.22.12

The last several months have been an incredible journey filled with amazing experiences. There are 5 households now fully committed to Synergy Church and I am so excited to be experiencing life together with them.  We’ve seen God do some pretty cool things.

With our original launch date of September 11 quickly approaching, we committed the month of August to fasting & prayer as a church.  Some fasted food for the entire month, some a meal a day, some sweets… but we all prayed that God would give us clarity concerning our Launch Sunday and the milestones that we were shooting for prior to launch.  The outcome — 01.22.12!

As a Core Team, we felt the Lord leading us to delay our launch a few months in order to become more sustainable.  We ultimately want to launch well so that we can sustain our vision to make Christ known in the lives of people far from God!  The extra months will allow us to see more families commit to our team and raise additional funds to launch well.  While there’s a side of me that feels defeat in delaying, I’m confident that God’s timing is perfect!

So SAVE THE DATE:  January 22, 2012!  You can only launch a church once, we’d love for you to be there!

Excited about the next five months we have to prepare for Synergy Launch. I’m all in with my heart, flat all out in my commitment, clearing my calendar all for Synergy needs. Have your way Lord in all our families to do your will.

God can do all things if you only believe and have faith. Keep up the good work and know that I’m praying for you and your church.
